File - Get External Data - Import - Text Type - Advanced - Specs PROBLEM

Can anyone assist me with a problem ?

When attempting to specify an import specification using ;

File - Get External Data - Import - Text Type - Advanced - Specs

Is it possible to specify a Spec layout, save it and then - at a later
point - amend the Spec ?

If anyone could assist, I would be very grateful.

Kind regards,

Michael

Sure.
Just import a sample text file and follow the steps you outlined!

Be sure to click SaveAs... when you are ready to save it.
Then give it a name.
