I'm having enough problems getting my db to work in access 2003, now how the hell do I turn off this help search box that appears in my menu??? Thanks, James James, Right click on any empty area of the tool bar to the left of the "Type a question ..." box. A popup window will appear - ignore it, for now. Now, right click on the box that says "Type a question ...". Another little popup will appear with a Check Box next to the text "Show Ask a Question Box". When the Customize window opens, leave it open and then right-click on the combo box (help search) in the upper right hand corner of the menu.
