closed microsoft access and saving my adp file, after restarting the laptop,
i tried to open the file again but it didn't anymore, it gave a message "not
a microsoft access project recognized format".

Try creating a blank adp project and import everything (or part of) from the
other (corrupted) file into it.  Maybe this will help you, maybe not.

I haven't had many problems with ADP in this regard.. i would just
make sure that you compile your VBA code all the time.. I do that
before saving it.

i just use the keys atl + D, arrow down, enter is compile I think
