Access Runtime 2004 - 18 Jul 2003 09:02 GMT
I have installed Access Runtime 2004 on a windows
XP machine. However before
it would load it kept saying that some components
of WinXP were out of date
and I needed to update them.

What are the system requirements for Access
Runtime 2002, can't find
anything in Developer Help, KB or anywhere. I
need to get handle on the
exact spec as I am planning to roll-out runtime
on many machines and need to
make sure they have the right components without
just going to Windows
Component Update and installing everything.

thanks so much

Check you Windows Menu

Start / Programs / Microsoft Office XP Developer / Packaging Wizard

if you have MOD XP installed on your PC.

The System requirements are the same for the runtime as for the full version
(which makes sense, because they're the same executable)

Check http://www.microsoft.com/office/evaluation/sysreqs.asp
