Hi all!

Is there a solution for the following;

We have solved the issue to display a linked PDF file with an activeX.
But the next step would be to print a report, on which the visual content
of the linked PDF file should be placed as well, along with the related
data.

Do you have any advise?
Unfortunately I'm not a developer, just "translating".
The programmer couldn't solve this task until now, during
VB Access development.

Thanks for your help!

Hi Alex,

The activeX PDF viewer (http://www.visagesoft.com/products/pdfviewerx/)
is capable of displaying predefined PDF files. Acces can display natively
only JPGs, TIFFs, and WMFs. There are some problems with the control of the
viewer, at the moment it opens in a new window (just instead of Adobe
Reader).
We have problems with displaying a small (50x50 pix) preview of the PDF, and
cannot embedd the visual content of the PDF file on a printed report.

Blagadariu za pomosh!

But have you tried to insert this control on report?
this can also work. some controls also works on reports.
Else - the only idea I have so far - is to convert all pdfs to tiff or jpg,
and display it instead, I think you can find conversion software on internet
