Ok, it's been a while since I've used Windows 2000, and I got stuck trying
to permit an activeX control to be installed for Internet Explorer.
I was trying to go to Windows Update and install Microsoft Update. It
requires and activeX control to be installed. Typically in Windows XP, a
message under the Address bar asks for permission to install the control,
but there is no such message in Windows 2000 IE. I don't know what to do
know to install it. I put security on Low and enabled all ActiveX
permissions to install controls. No Luck.
Any idea what to do in Windows 2000?
Thanks in advance,
.. Jim..

I'd suggest asking in a newsgroup related to Windows 2000.
This newsgroup is for questions about using ActiveX controls in Access, the
database product that's part of Office Professional.
