Hi,

I developed an appication in Access 2002 which included forms.  A user has
Access 2003 installed and is recieving ActiveX errors when trying to use any
of the forms:  "you do not have the access to use this ActiveX Control".  I
checked his references, the only difference we have is I have Microsoft
Access 10.0 Object Library and the he has Microsoft Access 11.0 Object
Library.

Can I assume this is causing the problem?  If so, what are my options for
resolving?

Thanks in advance
Cath

Hi,
from my experience - Microsoft Access 1X.0 Object Library never caused such
kind of error. what other references do you have? do you use any ActiveX
controls?

Hi Alex,

The references I am using are: VB for Applications, Microsoft Access 10.0
Object Library, OLE Automation and Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects 1.2 Library.
My user has the same ones except for he has Access 11.0 rather than 10, that
is why I thought it was the Access Object Library.

Hi Cath,
are you using English version of Access or some localized one?

Hi Cath,
then only guess I have - that this user do not have enough permissions to
run required components. I would try to log as admin at his PC, and try to
run application
Did you also tried to run it on other PCs with Access 2003? do you also have
same error message?
