date picker missing in AccessXP

Hi
I have access2000 appliaction which works in 2000 and 2003
but fails due to a number of activex components being missing.
These seem to have been installed in a 2000 service pack
and are available to 2003.

was wondering why they are not part of access xp/2002
and whether I can get them

ActiveX controls are problematic. Rather than using the Calendar control,
try the all-API approach Stephen Lebans has at

I highly recommend the non-ActiveX calendars like this one.  I wouldn't be
caught dead using an ActiveX control if there is an alternative.

In addition to the api based date picker written by Stephen Lebans and
mentioned by Doug Steele, there are a number of form based ones that work in
multiple versions. The one on my site is:
