The Application was developed with unicode English & Arabic. The problem got
solved after regional language settings in control panel on Laptop was set to
unicode Arabic.

Hi,
if you develop application for multiple languages - it is a good idea to use
English version

Hi, I have received the same error message on my Access 2002, when opening a
form with a simple, Wizard programmed button.
This problem happens, when the Form, on which you place your button has a
header. Though, if you simply disable the header, the error wont disappear.
You have to rebuild your form and delete the previous.
BUT!!! This way, some forms, which have embedded forms in them, and have or
had a programed button (no matter what program!), bring up the same message,
when they try to attach their relevant field to the embedded form's field.
So, to put it clearly, I made a form, embedded an other one. It worked. Put
an OpenForm button on it. It showed the message. I removed the header
(imagine how difficult it was to find this out). The button still didn't
work. I erased it.
Then I tried to add a data to the embedded form, it showed the same message,
saying it can't connect the two forms, due to "Problem in communicating with
OLE or ActiveX control".
Please help, how can I avoid this message once and forever?
PS: No language settings problems.

Looks like a problem because MDB created on Access version, which is not
compartible with current OS version
