I'm interested in working with the TreeView control contained in
MSComCtlLib. I've got that file, but I can't find the help file for it:
CMCTL198.CHM. It seems odd that the OCX file would get installed without
installing the associated help file.

I've search the MS MSDN website for CMCTL198.* but no luck.

I've got WinXP, and VFP 8 installed on my system. And, VS 6, Office 2000.
You'd think that one of them would have installed the help file.

Anyone know where I can get it?

Thanks,
Jim

Cheryl,

Thank you very much for posting these links. They will be a big help.

However, I would still like to find the associated help file: CMCTL198.CHM.
I find it very odd that the documentation clearly mentions it, but I can't
find it.

VS.6 *could* have installed it (but it has many installation options). I'm
at home (and my VS is at work) but I think it is in the CD-2 (well you may
search it: it is there with its own name -no compressed name).
