I'm trying to export data from access 97 to excel 2000 but I'm getting a
runtime 3274 error. (external table isn't in the specified format) I've
tried using different intrinsic constants for excel but hasn't worked. Does
anyone know how to fix this error.

Post the code that you're trying to use. Very difficult to diagnose a
problem without knowing how it arises.
