Hi All,

I have written an Access 2003 application with the Visio ActiveX control
embedded in a form. Everything works fine except that, in form view, the
Visio area is much smaller than the size of the control in design view. I
have tried increasing the size both in design view and programmatically from
the form_open event but it refuses to get any bigger.

Does anyone know: is this a feature? do we need to give users magnifying
glasses?

Hi Mark,

From your descriptions, I undestood that your Visio ActiveX control is not
able to size as you expected. Have I understood you? Correct me if I was
wrong.

I have also noticed that you posted in microsoft.public.viso.developer,
unfortunately, this queue is not our managed newsgroup. For this issue, you
are encourage to raise it at microsoft.public.office.devloper and Support
Professional there could serve you better and send a prompt response.

Based on my knowledge, the following MSDN Online article chapter
"Integrating the Control with the Host Container "

Programming with the Microsoft Office Visio 2003 ActiveX Control
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en-us/odc_vis2003_ta/html/odc_vsprogrammin
gwithvisioactivexcontrol.asp

introduces one property which you could set:

The drawing control exposes a PageSizingBehavior property that determines
how the page is displayed within the drawing control window. You can choose
to resize the page in relation to the drawing control's size, or provide a
view similar to Visio, showing a portion of the drawing page.

Thank you for your patience and corporation. If you have any questions or
concerns, don't hesitate to let me know. We are always here to be of
assistance!

Sincerely yours,

Michael Cheng
