Hi  everyone,
I'm very new to activeX controls....and need the following type of object
for my webpage:

what i'm looking for is a drop down field with the ability to manually enter
a value into the list.
I have installed Microsoft ActiveX Control Pad...to help me out but haven't
had too much luck (yet). I'm hoping this type of object already exists out
there as part of windows.

any help is appreciated

Hi Maria,

You want to use that object for navigation purposes? You might want to
download 1st Page 2000 from www.evrsoft.com - it has Javascripts that do
exactly what you want.

It's not a good idea to use an Active X control for that, because some users
will not run it.

Kind regards
