Hello there

I have access application that i add to it for short time ago a rich text
box.

For adding it on my computer i installed Visual studio

Now when i go to other computers without Visual Studio Only the form with
the rich text box don't work (as it shoud be)

The way i learned to install the ActiveX that support rich text box is by
using peckage and deployment.

Is there another way to install it just by placing the ocx file and do
sumthing on the registry so access will know this?

any help would be useful

Yes, in theory you can distribute the OCX and all of its dependencies, and
use regsvr32.exe to register it (although it may be necessary to also
register its dependencies). Note, though, that sometimes there are different
requirements for distributing run-time versions versus developer versions.
Just because you have it installed on your machine does not necessarily
imply that you're allowed to distribute it. (I'm just saying this in
general, because I doubt it's the case with the Microsoft RTF control)

The advantage of using the PDW is that it takes care of determining the
dependencies for you (as well as registering what needs to be registered)
